Parameter  HDMI VERSN 00aabbcc   represents hardware and software 
revision numbers (hexadecimal), combined into one 32-bit value.  

aa = HSR82 Software Release Revision (minor enumeration)
cc = HSR82 Software Release (major enumeration)
bb = HSR82 Software Version - this is related to the board hardware assembly status (*)

SYSTEM SETUP-->TESTS-->SYSTEM STATUS (fourth screen down)

Note: the currently used HDMI board model HSR82P supports 4K resolution (and DSD) on all
inputs but supports HDCP2.2 copy protection standard only on HDMI input socket #8 and only
on HDMI output socket #2 !

I did not find any differences between the hardware assembly batches such as XA,XB or B.  
When HDMI firmware is updated, aa and cc will change but bb should stay the same!
The reason aa and cc are out of sequence  is for compatibility with the early units.  
Originally aa was not returned by the early HSR8 boards when we released SP3,
aa value was added later.
