Modern BDP firmware available as a stable release since June 2014. Compatible with all BDP hardware.

MPD DB error

by lostsoul » Sun Jun 25, 2017 2:28 pm

I found the following error in the last line of /var/log/mpd.log:
Code: Select all
Jun 25 10:23 : update: Failed to save database: Failed to write to database file: No space left on device

Which device? The internal 4 GB memory card? Because there are plenty of free space on the attached USB drive.
What can I do to fix this? (I have 9769 songs on my BDP-2)

Also I am still running S2.11 2015-05-07. Is it safe to update to the latest version?

Hi Attila,

You may need to upgrade the firmware first (it should be fine), could you place the BDP into service mode and email us the service id? ... Manual.pdf

Hi Chris,

thanks for the quick reply.
I'll travel in the next two weeks but when I get back I'll update the firmware and see if the problem persists. I'll let you know when I placed the unit into service mode.
