Leave powered on, or turn off?

The power switch is on the back which may imply a recommendation to keep the unit on 24/7. OTOH it may be on the back for space-saving/cosmetic reasons. My manual doesn't make a recommendation one way or the other. Does Bryton have a recommendation?
