Hello everyone,

Recently I did a repair in 9BST model, was a short on transistors in a module, after that I applied 9BST SST Mod Rev2. (change transistors SJ6521 and SJ 6522 TO-3 by TRMJ21194 and TRMJ21193 remove caps and add new one and add parallel diode) I followed all instruction on the tech bulletin, after that I perceived two things:

1 - the module has a excessive heat;

2 - I can't do the Bias adjustment (in 8mv how indicated).

If anyone has any suggestions ,I thanking you in advance.

Best regards :roll:

***one more important thing to describe it's about the frontal Led , I perceived this Led (module was repaired) blinks in Red .

Hi Luciano,

You said you can't do the bias adjustment. Are you not able to reach the correct voltage? Or, something else is preventing you from doing it?

Hi Gary,
Firstly thank you for your reply.

I just can't reach adjustment in 8 mv !

when I measure around 5.4 mV the heatsink is very heat and the voltage jumps to 300 mV instantly, after this the front Led turn on in Red and the module stops work (heat protection).

best regards,

Dear sirs, we've received a new Amp module to solve it.

Many thanks for your help in this matter.

Best regards. :D
