Hello guys. Just wondering if you have new USB drivers ready for Windows 10 or if you have performed any compatibility testing of the current drivers in the upcoming OS from Microsoft.

Thanks!

Hi;

We have tested version 1.61 of the Bryston USB drivers with Windows 10, and they work well. The only issue we have found is with PC's that have been upgraded from an earlier version, with the USB drivers already installed. In this case, the driver needs to be removed, then re-installed, for proper operation.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi, I own the BUC-1 usb converter with a 1.56.0 driver usb key. When I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I got an incompatibility error message. So, I uninstalled and reinstalled the 1.56.0 drivers and received the same "not compatible" error message. How can I get a new 1.61 usb key or otherwise obtain 1.61 drivers which you indicate you have tested and were found to work well with Windows 10? Many thanks.

I have a BDA-2 and couldn't properly install drivers (version 1.61) after I updated my computer from Windows 8 to Windows 10. Removing the old 1.61 drivers didn't help. I didn't really pursue the matter because my purpose was to get onto TIDAL, and I was able to get the beta version of TIDAL through my BDP-1 and Manic Moose. However, I recently found out that I could install the drivers for the newer BDA-3 onto my computer, and they work fine with the BDA-2. The drivers are available on the Bryston website in the materials for the BDA-3. For what it's worth, I did remove the 1.61 drivers that were in my computer's program files.

Hello

Tried to install BDA 2 on my other system running Windows 10,
With no success.

I tried using both the driver key provided with the BDA-2 and the driver from the website (both 1.61 ver.)

It fails with "Preinstallation failed! Please run setup again. If you are asked to confirm the installation of software, please confirm."

I have tried the installation numerous times, as well as in safe mode but the same error appears.

* The user running the OS is an administrator.
** I have also tried to run the setup.exe in compatibility mode for windows 7/8 and that had no effect

I am assuming this is an issue with the OS's compatibility. With that said, is there another driver version more suited for this OS? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Please assist.

Thanks in advance,
Yitshak

Problem solved by using BDA 3 download driver.
Somehow this download add on JRiver both BDA2 and BDA3 playability.

All is fine
