Bdp-1 Won’t boot up

Frequently my bdp-1 will not boot up. It displays “cleaning up” and gets no further. I have tried removing the usb disc, but it can still happen. What is going on?

Have you simply tried proceeding with just trying to play something?

Yes it still continues”cleaning up”

Can you go into services and turn service mode on?
