BDP-2:

My BDP-2 (Serial No. 000028) has ceased to produce sound. I can get nothing from the AES/EBU output (although I get a green led on the BDA-2's AES/EBU button) nor from the spdif output. The unit indicates that it is playing the file. I have replaced it with my BDP-1 with the same cable setup and that works. I have disconnected it from power for some minutes in the blind hope that it would come to its senses but not so. The BDP-2 was updated today to S2.10 2015-03-02 but I do not know if this has anything to do with it.

Is there anything else that I can do or is this a dockyard job?

Information about output devices can be found in the Audio Devices menu found under settings, may may shed some light as to whats going on. Page 15 of the Manic Moose manual contains more detail information about the Audio Devices tab.
