A few weeks back I installed the new sound card in my BDP-2 (paid $500 to Bryston to purchase it). Everything seemed fine. Now when I try to play 24/192 files there is constant low level static in the background. This occurs ONLY when playing 24/192 resolution wav files. 16/44 and 24/96 wav files play with no problem.
I've tried updating the software on the BDP-2, rebooting and restarting. My DAC (signal comes via balanced cable from the BDP-2) is a PS Audio Perfectwave, which always played 24/192 without any problems in the past. Tried rebooting that as well.
Any suggestions would be apprectiated. Thanks much.
