BDP2 Error9

My BDP2 recently registered error 9 and I followed the suggested checks and a re flash of the CF card. This did not correct the error; I checked the re flashed card in my BDP1 and it worked correctly. I noticed a high pitched noise from around the power supply board that disappears when the unit is activated (green light on).
Any advise would be appreciate.

Hi Jim,
I dont't know about the noise from the power board.
However I experienced the issue you advised once, but simply cycling the power, by disconnecting and reconnecting the power cable, the error was resolved.
