Hey everyone,
I didn't see a SP2 forum so I thought this might be the best place to post my issue. I have a Bryston SP2 that I'm trying to use 5.1 bypass with my computer. Works fine when I switch to 5.1 bypass via the remote or front panel button, and I then save the settings. The problem I'm having is when I turn the unit off and then back on, the 5.1 bypass light is still on and the display reads "5.1 bypass", but I do not get any sound of the processor. Turning 5.1 off and then back on gets the sound to work again, so it's just an issue at turn-on.
I've tried just about everything I could think of including disabling the digital input, disabling digital lock, resetting to factory defaults, etc. Please let me know if anyone has any idea on how to fix this. I'm also wondering if this will be covered until the 20 year analog warranty, or 5 year digital warranty.
Thanks,
Chris
