Green HDMI signal

Hello,

I am running into an issue with an Intel Stick Running Win10 (basically a HDMI "stick" form factor computer, small, underpowered, but can stream Netflix) and an SP3.

The Stick is connected to HDMI 8 on the SP3. When switching to the port (e.g. from Cable), the colors are all green. When rebooting the Stick - it stays green. Reconnecting it (pulling the stick out and plugging it in) resets the colors correctly. Rebooting (or cycling power) for the SP3 also solves the issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Assaf

Hi Assaf;

Please try setting Source Setup -> Other -> HDMI Startup to '1 EDID' rather than '0 Auto' after selecting source 8. This will force the SP3 to re-detect the device description when switching to this source, and is essentially the same level of detection as rebooting the SP3.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

I got around to testing this today (the latest windows update bricks the Intel Stick - so I ended up messing with it today). It does not resolve the green issue. Tried all the other modes - don't work as well.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Assaf

Still not resolved :(

Albeit the Compute Stick now works pretty well. I watch Netflix through it.
