I'm been a content user of the BDP-2 for over a year now and I've been updating the Manic Moose firmware for a few months
I like the way it operates but I still have the one compaint that I mentioned a few times but never got acknowleged that anyne else had the problem. On the player software the artwork still doesn't update if the consume feature is active.
Is it me or does this happend to anyone else. I'm using an Ipad as my controller

This is likely do to an issue with one of the "mechanisms" used to tell media player to update the cover art, only a handful of customers have been effected. The issue appears to have been identified and should be fixed in the next software release, due early October.

I had a successful install of MM and updated to latest version S2.06 2014.10.07 (thanks very much Chris!!)
I cannot get album art to display in Artist View. I have created a scratch disc and the DB loads to 100% and the physical structure of Artist View appears on both my windows 7 laptop and my Acer (Android 4.4.2) tablet but no album art. In Normal view album art is displayed so I assume it means my tags are OK.
Any assistance please. Thnx
Steve

If no album art file is found in each album folder on your drive (folder.jpg, cover.jpg, front.jpg), Default view uses the track's artist and album info to search Amazon.com for the correct cover art. Artist View does not failover to Amazon. Can you confirm that you consistently use one of these three image files in each of your folders for album art? Note that Artist View does not read "embedded" album art in a file.

I'm having a difficult time getting the correct album artwork to display in Manic Moose. I have the latest version (S2.06 2014-10-07), but the problem seems to have gotten worse with recent updates. I either get no artwork or I get the artwork of an album I played several albums ago, particularly if I hit the refresh arrow in my browser address window. This is becoming increasingly frustrating.

Since I've stopped using the "Consume" mode, the artwork problem appears to have cleared up. Is this typical?

I get the same thing .Album artwork works most of the time if consume button is not activated
Issue hasn't been fixed in the mM 10-07 firmware upgrade

with any luck this will be cleared up in S2.10, we have already identified several flaws in the code that prevent the cover art from refreshing at all or to late.

Cheers,
Chris
