Manic Moose Firmware begins with S2. followed by a two digit sub version and a the date it was compiled.
Loony Loon Firmware begins with S1. followed by a two digit sub version and a the date it was compiled.
The firmware revision can be found on the some page (the BDP's homepage) or under system found in settings. The firmware can also be display'd on the front panel of the BDP by pushing the up arrow from the home position.

That is the most recent update S2.05 2014-08-18, I've been focused on development for the BOT these past few months and upgrade the kernel/mpeg decoder. A release containing fixes and software to power the BOT that is currently a week old should be released shortly. Do to the drastic changes made to some of the "core" software in the firmware i am hesitant to release it before giving it a good once over.

I downloaded the new firmware today to my BDP-1 and 2. Is there anything new to MM or just fixes?

Hi Chris,
I see that the new firmware has CD capability along with the new BOT. Can I use my BDC-1? If so how....I do have it playing thru the BDP-2. Am I able to download files to the internal drive of my BDP-2?

All is good. I connected an external drive to the BDP-2 and I was able to burn a CD to the internal drive. The new firmeware works great.
