Bryston DB Crash Detected

"Bryston DB Crash Detected" was the message displayed on the Dashboard this morning. If I click on it, I can see a log file showing attempts to generate album covers for music loaded on my two flash drives. It looks like it makes it through "Sorting music into Bryston DB", but fails to get through the "Generating Album View" phase.

Question: how can I force the BDP-1 to rebuild the album covers? Is this done my clearing the MPD cache?

The next time you load the artist view it will trigger a rebuilt, but skip the cover art portion. Then in media player settings, click "Reset DB" and then next time you view the artist page it will attempt to rebuild both the database and the cover art.

it likely crashed while re-sizing an image, not an uncommon occurrence
