Could you please change the front panel power switch behaviour to require a sustained press in order to initiate a shutdown? I don't know how many times I have accidentally pressed the power button instead of the play button, after which the reboot sequence seems to take an eternity!
A delay of around 3 seconds before shutting down should be sufficient to avoid the impression that the BDP is even more stupid than its operator...
