Multichannel Support

All:

Does either MDP or Squeezelite support multi-channel audio sources such as flac. I have a 5 channel PCM recording.

With MDP it mixes it down to 2 channels.

With Squeezelite only the mains (L+R) are passed on.

Thoughts?

MPD is only two channel and our audio hardware is also only two channel. Perhaps with squeezelite and the right USB dac/USB sound card you might get squeezelite to do it.
